Description

This is a big scratchbord work, done on Ampersand board which I find the best. The work is not done by brush, but by surgical scalpel, scratching the black surface off from top of white caolin clay. Every single hair is visible when you look up close. This is an Arab horse, a stallion neighing.

Thank you - you should have seen me doing this scratchwork on our dinner table. The work is 1m wide, so that was the only flat surface I could use. And then taking care I never touched it with my bare hands (avoidong greasy marks). Amazong I succeeded in that.
